Selma, NC is the heart of rural North Carolina. It's a perfect place to see live music on a summer night and a perfect atmosphere for making timeless memories. Recently The Farm built a beautiful facility for not only live music, but weddings or special events.
This past weekend The Farm had it's first show of the year. Of course The Farm is known for Farm Fest concert in October, but this year there are two shows prior. Scotty McCreery was up first and boy did he really set the bar high. With opening acts, Blake Kearney and Eric Paslay, the performances were rock solid til the lights were shut off.
I'm not going to lie, I was preparing myself for all the screaming girls that had a sleepless night and were so excited to see a glimpse of Scotty. And for a good reason. Once Scotty hit the stage it was a non- stop show. Singing all his hits: "I Love You This Big," "Water Tower Town," and his new single at radio "Feelin' It," were all no competition to his song "Write Your Number on My Hand." A little background info, Scotty is known for singing that song at all his shows and going down to the front row signing a number on fans hands. Lets just say when that song came on there was much needed reinforcement to the gates in front of the stage.
All in all the show was a success and brought a great crowd. The Farm is set to host another concert June 14th as Jason Michael Carroll sets to headline with special guests JT Hodges, Canaan Smith, Cale Dodds, and The Mikele Buck Band. Get your tickets
