Album Alert: Brantley Gilbert "Just As I Am"

Brantley Gilbert came out of the gates running after his sophomore album "Halfway to Heaven" reached no.2 on Billboard Top Country Albums in 2011 and no.4 on Billboard top 200 charts. This past Monday, May 19th, he released his highly anticipated third album, "Just As I Am."

I think the BG Nation is going to absolutely love his new songs. Kicking it off with an energized track "If You Want A Bad Boy," sets the mood right. Especially with his collaboration alongside buddies Thomas Rhett and Justin Moore for "Small Town Throw Down," definitely going to be a live smash success!

With this album, Gilbert released a deluxe edition which included a track, "G.R.I.T.S.," he had on his debut album "Modern Day Prodigal Son." I suppose some artist do this if they believe the song has more life to it and shouldn't be forgotten. It is a great listen, check it out.

My ABSOLUTE favorite on the whole album is hands down, "Grown Ass Man." I'm a country fan who likes hearing songs about the hard times of making it in the music industry, because many of you may already know, the music world is the toughest business to be successful in. It's a raw track that you can only get on the deluxe edition!
