Former Nirvana Drummer and current Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl surprised a very lucky crowd at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville with an unannounced acoustic performance. The Bluebird is known for it's intimate setting and dynamic performances by songwriters, and having a famous rock musician on stage didn't change a thing. Dave was a seamless fit into the songwriters venue as he performed several of the songs he's written over his career including "Times Like These," "Big Me," "Learn to Fly," and "Skin and Bones".
Dave isn't a stranger to Music City, as he recently worked with Zac Brown Band producing their newest work, titled The Grohl Sessions, Vol. 1. You can pick this album up in stores beginning May 19th.
I can't even describe how jealous I am of those who were in the crowd for this event. Dave Grohl is one of my favorite musicians on the planet, and to see him in a venue that holds less than 100 people is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity.
