Record Store Day Offers

Vinyl has seen a resurgence in the mainstream, and a couple of country artists are taking note.  Record Store Day is Saturday, April 19th and these are the albums you'll want to check out:

Eric Church-The Outisders
This is the second year in a row that Eric Church has released an album on RSD. Last year's offering was Caught In the Act and included a bonus whiskey infused 7".  This year's release includes the full The Outsiders album plus two bonus tracks, including a cover of The Beatles' "Come Together". I haven't anticipated hearing a cover this much in a long time.

Dolly Parton-Blue Smoke
This 7" will include "Blue Smoke" and "Home", two tracks from Dolly's upcoming album, which is scheduled to drop May 13th.

Hank Williams-The Garden Spot Programs

This 10" vinyl consists of previously unreleased songs from a 1950 Texas radio show, The Garden Spot Programs. Hank's daugher Jett helped oversee the project, which is a good sign that the project was handled in the way it should be. They're still finding unreleased recordings from one of the most influential artists in the history of country music, and I couldn't be more thankful.
